What we collect when you request dataset access, what we do with it, and how to have it removed.

Information we collect

When you submit a request for sample records or evaluation access through our access request form, we collect:

  • Your name, if provided
  • Work email address
  • Organisation name
  • Job title or role
  • Intended use case and training stage
  • Any additional notes you provide

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Process your request for sample records or evaluation access
  • Send confirmations and follow-up communications
  • Evaluate your use case and determine whether a dataset fits it
  • Improve the corpora and the datasheets based on feedback
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will not use your information for marketing purposes unless you explicitly consent.

Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes above, or for as long as required by law. Access requests are typically retained for 12 months unless you ask for deletion sooner or a longer retention is legally required.

Data security

We apply industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose your information:

  • When required by law or legal process
  • To enforce our terms of service or other agreements
  • To service providers who help us operate this site, under data protection agreements

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

  • Access - request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction - ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Portability - request your data in a portable format
  • Opt out - withdraw from promotional communications

European Union residents. We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given through the contact form, and our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents. You have the right to know what personal data is collected, to delete personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, which we do not do. Write to us to exercise these rights.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies or tracking pixels for analytics or behavioural tracking, and does not track your activity across the web.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
